Robotics & Automation 2026: machine vision and orchestration own the floor
Two days at the NEC made the pattern hard to miss — the robot is rarely the bottleneck any more; the software around it is.
Events & engagements
NOVYRON spent two days at Robotics & Automation 2026, where the UK industrial robotics, machine vision and integrated-systems community packed into the NEC in Birmingham.
The pattern was hard to miss: the robot is rarely the bottleneck any more — the software around it is.
Cells that see, decide and coordinate were the conversations we came for: AI perception on the inspection station, governed decision support where an error is expensive, and task-level orchestration across automation that came from more than one supplier.
